About Tate Water Ski Lake
Tate Lake is located in Franklin County Washington, about 20 miles South of Othello. The lake is 2,200 feet long, 240 feet wide and nominally 5 feet deep. It has large turn islands and is very easy to drive. The Lake water comes from Grand Coulee Dam, which irrigates most of Central Washington. Tate Lake offers exclusive private rentals for tournaments, ski clubs and family groups. The concrete launch ramp is 122 feet long and 16 feet wide and easy to negotiate. There are also three finger piers in the boat basin. Tate Lake has a bottom anchored record tournament class slalom course- the jump is strictly off-limits except for Water Ski USA sanctioned tournaments. Free camping is available for lake renters - please camp on the north side of the lake on weekends, and west of the lake on weekdays - sprinklers are on timers.
